Lets begin when i tried my first Gen2+ NVG.
It was called the Night Optics D-300
It was overall good quality and had 2 settings of IR light on the unit.
The IR light is much more powerful when u compare to the PVS-7 or PVS-14 Gen3 units… but again Gen3 don’t really need so powerful IR light compare to older gens like 2 and 1.
It used only 1x 3v cr123 battery, so there was alot of burning hours compare to 1x AA batt.
